[+]And the Wisdom Teeth are OUT!
Well, yesterday morning I went to my oral surgeon and he pulled all 4 of my wisdom teeth. I was under general anesthesia, and pretty much slept most of the rest of the day, but today I've been pretty much up and around (considering the size of the wisdom teeth and how long it actually took to get them out of my mouth). It feels kinda weird in my mouth, and still hurts and is sore, but I actually expected it to be much worse (and my friend Ethan made it out to be much worse also). The whole procedure yesterday went pretty well, except when the anesthesiologist screwed up with the first IV line he tried to put in...he put it in the top of my hand (the other side of my palm) and apparently didn't get it all the way in...but didn't realize it until I told him and the nurse that it still hurt when it definitely shouldn't have anymore...they probably would have started operating on me if I hadn't mentioned something. Nah, actually the oral surgeon was really great (I mean, if I'm up and around the next day, he must be really good!). Anyway, it certainly wasn't the most fun thing I could have done yesterday, but all things considered, it didn't come off that badly...and if you think I'm exaggerating how hard my wisdom teeth were to get out, take a look at these pictures of one of them:

Anyway, Happy New Years Everyone!!!

[+]Another lull in my life...
While waiting for Microsoft Windows XP to finish setting up on my parent's computer (which I'm trying to fix), I find myself with some free time...so why not go post another entry in my blog (I think to myself). Anyway, I figure I'll list all those things which I intensely dislike at this moment in time (for lack of anything else to say):
- SPAM (can I tell you...what a complete waste of everyone's time and energy this is!...I opened up a hotmail account a couple of months ago, but never once used it until the other day when I logged in...and had like 800 SPAM emails sitting in my Inbox!!...I mean, I'd like to find one person who actually receives an email regarding penis pumps and then goes and buys one from the SPAM email he received...at least television and radio advertising sometimes works...and even direct mailings to your physical address are easily discarded and not as invasive and annoying as SPAM is)
- Cleaning (definitely need to win the lottery or invent something so that I can get rich and hire people to clean for me ;) )
- Laundry (see Cleaning above)
- College (it's my new opinion that college is just a plot by a bunch of rich, powerful people to get richer and more powerful while completely wasting our time...there isn't one thing I learned in College that I couldn't have learned elsewhere for less than the $35,000 a year that I'm not going to be paying off for the REST of my life...its not like after college I can all of a sudden go start a law practice, or start operating on people...no real life skills are taught in colleges...well, at least not in my college...all I get from my school is a lot of stress and headaches...well, now that I think about it...I guess there is a life lesson being taught...that life is full of stress and headaches...ugghh)
- Overbearing People or those who talk down to you (pretty self-explanatory...I hope no one ever thinks I'm overbearing or talk down to them)
- People who waste your time (the other day I made some posts on Saabnet.com asking a bunch of questions about my new 2000 Saab 9-5 car...most of the responses were useful and contained good information and answers to my questions...however, this one guy called me an impatient idiot, suggested I run off the road at 90 MPH, and basically told me to read the manual and go away...I mean, c'mon...if you don't have anything useful to say, just don't say anything...responses like that are just stupid and a big waste of everyone's time...)
- SNOW (I live in Rochester, NY...whaddya expect?)

Hmm...I'm sure there are plenty of other things I dislike too, but considering that 95% of the .000000000001% of people that actually read this blog are now no longer reading it, I figure I'll end my list here for the time being ;)

In case anyone is wondering what the immediate future holds for me, I'll probably spend the holidays and New Years with family and friends, I have to get my wisdom teeth out on the 30th of December (what a great New Years I'm going to have), and then its back to Rochester for more school. I'm planning on trying to take an EMT course next semester and join the Brighton Volunteer Ambulance squad...I think the skills I'd learn in the course are good to have, and being able to ride in an ambulance and respond to 911 emergency medical calls sounds really interesting too (perhaps a bit morbid, but interesting nonetheless).

I hope everyone has a happy and healthy Holiday and New Years!!!
